Brandi Hoover, CPFA, Owner

Brandi is the owner of Southern Securities Group, LLC, a comprehensive wealth management firm with over $250 million dollars in assets under management serving clients across the United States.  Their services include portfolio management, retirement planning, comprehensive financial planning, estate planning and education planning. Over the past decade, Brandi has consistently been recognized as the Pine Belt’s Best Financial Advisor and was included in Signature Magazine’s Top 20 Under 40 in 2023. Nationally, she has been recognized as Forbes Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors in 2019,  Advisor Hub’s Top 100 Women to Watch in 2025,  and just recently was named Forbes Best In State Top Women Wealth Advisors for 2026.  

Brandi was born and raised in Hattiesburg, MS. She attended the University of Mississippi where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008. Upon graduation, she moved to Santa Barbara, CA to work as the National Marketing Director and would later become the Director of Operations for a national baseball recruiting firm. In 2013, Brandi relocated to Nashville, TN where she began to transition her career from sports to finance. In 2014, she returned to Hattiesburg and registered with LPL Financial where she obtained her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses to become an LPL Financial Advisor. Brandi went on to obtain her Series 24 license in anticipation of completing her acquisition of Southern Securities Group, LLC and began serving as the on-site OSJ. Brandi was first introduced to the wealth management industry at the ripe age of 8 years old when her father became a financial advisor himself. Growing up, she attended countless mutual fund conferences, meetings and other events where she began learning about investments at a very young age.

Brandi is a contributor to the Power of 100 campaign supporting the Kids Hub Child Advocacy Center, an annual donor to the ADP’s economic growth initiative programs, a sponsor of American Heart Association, United Way, and other countless local sponsorship programs including supporting teachers during back to school. She married Tyler Hoover in November 2014 and they have two children, Noah and Heidi. Brandi and her family reside in Ocean Springs where they attend St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Her favorite hobby is traveling.
