Brandi Hoover, CPFA®, is the Owner of Southern Securities Group, LLC and an LPL Financial Advisor, leading a comprehensive wealth management firm overseeing more than $280 million in assets under management and serving clients across the United States. As both an advisor and the firm’s owner, Brandi works closely with clients while providing the leadership and vision behind SSG’s continued growth. The firm provides portfolio management, retirement planning, comprehensive financial planning, estate planning, and education planning services with a focus on building lasting relationships and helping clients navigate every stage of their financial lives.

Throughout her career, Brandi has earned recognition both locally and nationally within the financial services industry. She has consistently been recognized among the Pine Belt’s Best Financial Advisors and was named to Signature Magazine’s Top 20 Under 40 in 2023. Her national recognitions include Forbes Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors in 2019, AdvisorHub’s 100 Women Advisors to Watch in 2025, and Forbes Best-in-State Top Women Wealth Advisors and Best-in-State Wealth Advisors in 2026.

Born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Brandi attended the University of Mississippi, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008. Her early career took her to Santa Barbara, California, where she worked in marketing and operations for a national baseball recruiting firm, and later to Nashville, Tennessee, where she began transitioning her career into financial services. She returned home to Hattiesburg in 2014 and registered with LPL Financial, obtaining her Series 7 and Series 66 registrations to become a financial advisor. She later obtained her Series 24 registration and began serving as the firm’s on-site OSJ as she prepared to complete her acquisition of Southern Securities Group.

For Brandi, financial services has been part of her life long before it became her career. Her father became a financial advisor when she was eight years old, giving her an early introduction to the industry through the conferences, meetings, and events she attended alongside him. Those experiences helped shape the foundation for a career that would eventually lead her back home and into ownership and leadership of the firm she serves today.

Brandi is passionate about giving back to the communities SSG serves. She supports a number of local organizations and initiatives, including the Kids Hub Child Advocacy Center’s Power of 100 campaign, economic development programs, the American Heart Association, United Way, local schools, and numerous community sponsorships throughout South Mississippi.

Brandi and her husband, Tyler, have two children, Noah and Heidi, and reside in Ocean Springs, where their family attends St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Outside of the office, Brandi enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
