Cher Evans was born and raised in the Hattiesburg area. She joined Southern Securities Group in October 2024 as a Client Services Specialist. In 2025, she obtained her SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses to become a registered LPL Financial Advisor.
Prior to joining Southern Securities Group, Cher developed extensive experience in administration, estate planning, and private banking. Her professional focus is to provide clients with exceptional service and foster long-term relationships built on trust and reliability.
Cher is actively involved in the Pine Belt community through various organizations. She serves as a Board Member for the Pine Belt Foundation and was recognized as a 2024 W.I.S.H. Society Honoree for her outstanding contributions and leadership. She is also a contributor to the Power of 100 campaign supporting the Kids Hub Child Advocacy Center.
Outside of work, Cher enjoys spending time with her family, especially her daughter, Linken, as well as staying active playing tennis with several groups. She and her husband, Chuck, enjoy boating on the weekends on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Cher brings the same dedication and attention to detail to her personal pursuits as she does to her professional career, balancing a strong work ethic with meaningful personal connections.
